The goal of Tree Climbing Techniques is to introduce students to
arboricultural and recreational tree climbing by providing
them with the
instruction and opportunity to perform safe tree climbing.
Course Objectives:
1. Students will know how to safely inspect, enter, position,
and exit a tree.
2. Students will describe the procedures for safe tree inspection, entrance,
positioning, and exit.
3. Students will demonstrate knot tying ability, pre-climb inspection, and
safe tree climbing techniques.
